IslandCorps is an education leadership, 501(c)3, 1101.01 non-profit organization dedicated to providing children with imaginative and sustainable learning experiences across Puerto Rico and the Caribbean islands. Our mission is to eradicate poverty by strengthening the future of our youth, families, and communities. Our goal is to transform traditional schooling by redefining education for island children. IslandCorp’s impact is important for a better future; we seek to improve pediatric public health to yield a healthier generation and a happier world.
Our gentle education fosters a love for nature, personal care, good hygiene, wellness, mental health, fitness, clean nutrition, positive values, and ethical conduct. Education should be gentle; we design programs that inspire children to learn without shame or tears. Our K-12 education programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child, empowering them to experience a true adventure in learning.
